PROCESS

We start with a Complementary Virtual Consultation, where we discuss your project to gain an understanding of your goals and vision
We will also discuss your budget and timelines
We will then prepare a Pre Design Agreement (PDA), which will outline the scope of your project and budget. If you want to move forward, this agreement is signed and a design fee of 1% or 2% is paid, depending on the scope of work required for site survey and meetings to get to the Design Development Agreemnet (DDA)

We begin by visiting your home to review the expectations of the project, analyze the environment to be designed and make a detailed measurement of the site
We will then schedule the first Design Review Meeting to work on creating the space that you envision and provide visual aids such as 3D renderings
After we speak, we will provide a Pre-Estimate based on the approved preliminary design
Finally, we will provide a Design Development Agreement and an invoice equalling to 6% of the total cost, which later be credited to your construction contract

We will first arrange a Selections Meeting to guide you through the process of choosing flooring, fixtures, lighting, cabinets and much more
The Design+Build team will take this time to also review plans and confer with one another on any outstanding questions. We'll also meet one-on-one with key trade contractors scheduled to work on your home. This process ensures that everyone who works on your project understands both the schedule and the plan
Once selections and designs are finalized, we'll present and review the complete budget, timeline forecast, drawings and selections. At this point, the contract will be finalized and ratified

Before construction begins, we will arrange a pre-construction meeting to discuss logistics and expectations with you prior to starting construction on your project
Once work has started, we'll conduct a weekly walkthrough with you where we will show you progress to-date
It is our goal to make sure that we are meeting your expectations and keeping you updated every step of the way
Once your work has concluded, we will provide a survey where you can provide insight into your experience
