Step 1
Contracts & financing
This is when you finalize your choice of structural options, complete the Agreement of Sale, and approve the terms of your mortgage as negotiated with your chosen lender.
Step 2
Selections & Scheduling
With your loan approved, it’s now time to personalize your new home! At our Design Centre, you work one-on-one with a trained consultant to choose all non-structural selections for your new home. Once all your selections are finalized—including even your multi-media wiring—construction can begin and you receive an estimated completion date for your new Van Metre home.
Step 3
The Building Process
As we build your new home, expect to attend various milestone meetings with your construction team. These meetings include a Breaking Ground Meeting before construction commences, a Behind the Walls Reveal prior to drywall installation and your Welcome Home Reveal once your new home is complete. The purpose of the first two meetings is to address any questions you have throughout the construction process. At the Welcome Home Reveal, you review your warranty and learn how your new home operates. After that, all you have left is Settlement—expect to sign papers and receive the keys to your new home!
